Genesis Ceiling Tiles cannot grow mold in them. All wood and mineral fiber (acoustical, porous, vinyl coated sheet rock, etc) will grow mold in them. Most only show the mold on the side facing up away from the visitor. So until they are removed most will never know they have a mold issue other than by health issues by those working in the area of the tiles that are growing mold. -----------------------------------------------------------------3. Damaged or Missing Ceiling Tiles?
Did you know that damaged or missing tiles can be just more than an eye sore? Some local codes and the compliance code for US Government calls for any all damaged and/or missing tiles be replaced ASAP.
PROBLEM(S):
The problem is a loss of cooling or heating above the drop ceiling. Heat or cooling loss to the open area above costing you more to heat or cool the areas where tiles are damaged or missing.
